Elliot’s Wiggle is a 2022 seedling and holds a special place in the garden as the very first one we ever selected. It’s named after my daughter and the adorable little happy dance—her “wiggle”—she used to do whenever she saw French fries. This early bloomer is a reliable workhorse, producing soft orange decorative blooms with playful pink wolf petals. As the season cools, the color shifts—taking on more pink tones with each passing week. The plant stands about 5 feet tall with dark green leaves and strong, brownish stems that hold up well in the field.
